Liberal bicycle commuter, political junkie, policy junkie, free thinker, I've got too many titles. All in all I'll leave it with a quote from the late Senator Paul Wellstone of Minn. "Politics is not about big money and power games, it's about the improvment of peoples lives."

Cairo Massacre

I Guess if getting raped, tortured, burned alive, hacked to death and killed isn't bad enough in Darfur you can always move to Cairo and get a second helping while pleading for refugee status. Approximately 3,000 Darfur region refugees have been attempting to get refugee status from the Egyptian govenrment but you know the same old story... black and poor who wants them. So Egypt just decided to slaughter them. I find it interesting that the Egyptian government is pretty tight with Khartoum. Khartoum being the city in the North of Sudan where the government is ordering the genocide of the Southern Sudan citizens.

I guess no matter where these refugees go they face some form of an armed Janjaweed that is more than willing to wipe them off the face of the earth. Kind of interesting that we are more than willing and almost eager to call the slaughter of white people genocide but as far as blacks are concerned we may mutter it but worst of all we sit and watch it take place.
